Utica Dental accepts all scans from all intraoral scanning systems. Below is a list of the most popular scanning systems, select the appropriate scanner to learn how to send your case digitally.
ITero
- Contact Align Technology directly (800-577-8767) to add Utica Dental to your list of “Favorite Labs”
- Select “Sync Configuration” under settings
- Send case and scan data by hitting “Send” on the screen

3Shape Trios
- Log in to your 3Shape account
- Select “Edit Account”. Under “My Account” select "My Favorite Laboratories”
- Search “Utica Dental” and click “Connect” to send a request
CEREC / PRIMESCAN
- Log in to Sirona Connect and select “My Cerec Connect”
- Select “Edit Account”. Under “My Account” select "My Favorite Laboratories”
- Search “Utica Dental” and click "Add” to register
Planmeca
- Make sure your Romexis Cloud account is active at online.planmeca.com
- Finish the scan in the Romexis CAD/CAM module, then select the case in the case list
- Click Cloud Export (or Send to Cloud) and choose Send to another Romexis user
- Enter [UDL Romexis Cloud email]
- Attach the STL/PLY files and the Rx, then click Send
Carestream / Dexis
- Open Carestream or Dexis Connect on your scanner
- Search for “Utica Dental” and add the lab
Medit
- Log in to meditlink.com with the administrator account
- Go to Partners on the left menu
- Search for the lab that you wish to make a partnership with
- Locate the lab, and click the Request Partnership button
Shinning3D
- Sign in to Shining3D Dental Cloud at dental3dcloud.com (clinic founder or admin account).
- Click the Connections tab on the left, then New in the upper right.
- Search for UDL lab name in Dental Cloud and click Search.
- Select Utica Dental Lab and click Confirm. The status shows "to be confirmed" until UDL accepts.
- After scanning, choose Utica Dental Lab on the send screen.
Straumann SIRIOS
- Scans from SIRIOS / SIRIOS X3 sync to your Straumann AXS account automatically.
- Log in at axs.straumann.com
- Search the AXS lab directory for [UDL lab name in AXS — Tony to provide] and add it as a preferred lab.
- Send the case to Utica Dental Lab from AXS
